Itinerary highlights
- Amsterdam (overnight onboard)... settle into your brand-new cabin and enjoy the Dutch capital. Take advantage of the long summer evenings to do some exploring, then enjoy a guided glass-top boat ride the next day.
- Cologne and Augustusburg Palace... cruise by the cathedral spires into the heart of the old city. Disembark and take a short drive to Brühl for your Insider Experience—a tour of Augustusburg Palace. Then, head back to Cologne for some free time.
- Cochem... continue along one of the prettiest stretches of the Moselle. Explore the half-timbered streets of Medieval Cochem with a guide, then head to the fairytale-esque Cochem Castle.
- Rhine Gorge and Rüdesheim... cruise through the Rhine Gorge, arguably the most beautiful stretch of the Rhine. In Rüdesheim, ride the Winzerexpress mini road train to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum.
- Strasbourg... enjoy a guided tour of the Old Town, including the imposing cathedral. Then enjoy tasting some local French cheese and sweets.
- Breisach... this is the gateway to the Black Forest region. Take a coach ride through the dense pine forests to Triberg, a quaint village famous for its cuckoo clocks and waterfalls.
- Basel... after breakfast, say goodbye to your fellow passengers and head straight to the airport.
The same itinerary operates in reverse on 21 July.
