Itinerary
Begin with an overnight stay at Kimpton Epic Hotel, located in Downtown Miami. There are two outdoor pools on the 16th-floor pool terrace. Mingle with other guests at the hosted evening wine hour, and make the most of complimentary tea and coffee in the morning. It'll then be time to join Explora I for your cruise, calling at...

• Progreso, Mexico... sits on the Yucatan Peninsula and is the gateway to the elegant colonial city of Mérida. It also serves as a jumping off point for trips to Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World (excursions available at a supplement). 
• Roatán Island, Honduras... has the world's second-largest coral reefs, which makes for great diving and snorkelling opportunities.
• Ocean Cay, The Bahamas... relax on pristine sands on this idyllic private island owned by MSC Cruises. You could also climb to the top of the island's lighthouse for unrivalled views, or book into the spa for relaxing treatments (additional fees apply for some activities).
• Miami, USA... disembark the ship and continue to the airport. 

Ship details
Explora I launched with Explora Journeys in 2023. The ship is styled after a superyacht, with state-of-the-art green technology to reduce engine emissions while berthed, and to reduce underwater noise to leave marine mammals as undisturbed as possible. In addition to this, single-use plastics aren’t used aboard the ship or during excursions.

The ship has a high crew-to-passenger ratio, so you should always be able to find a helpful member of staff. There are five all-inclusive restaurants that you can dine at with no extra charge, including Japanese, steakhouse, Mediterranean, and French options, and you can also order meals direct to your suite. Dine at Anthology by Mauro Uliassi for an extra fee—the restaurant offers an eight-course tasting menu. There are over 10 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges.

Take part in all manner of activities on board, including masterclasses in photography, song writing, mixology, and more. Entertainment includes masquerade ball-style club nights, midnight storytelling sessions, and cocktail dance parties. There are three outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool.
