Itinerary
First, you'll spend four nights in Sorrento, the largest and most famous of the towns on the Amalfi Coast. You'll enjoy a full-day tour of breathtaking Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, and history buffs will have plenty of time to visit Pompeii independently—it's just a short bus ride from the hotel.

Next, you'll take a scenic train journey north to Rome, and spend the night in a central hotel before transferring to Civitavecchia to board Celebrity Equinox. On your 9-night cruise to Barcelona, you'll call at:

• Naples... is the birthplace of the pizza, and famous for its authentic Italian atmosphere and views of Vesuvius.
• La Spezia... this port is the gateway for independent trips to Florence or Pisa. 
• Portofino... from here, you can explore the colourful clifftop villages of Italy's northern Cinque Terre region.
• Villefranche... this port is the gateway for independent trips to chic Nice. 
• Marseille... explore the beautiful southern capital of France, or head inland to Provence. 

Finally, you'll arrive in Barcelona and get a private transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
