Itinerary

  • Hamburg... with its hip bars and foodie scene, Lonely Planet calls it "one of the coolest cities on Earth". Browse trendy boutiques and devour sweets in a café in the Karolinenviertel neighbourhood, or take in panoramic city views from the wrap-around balcony at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, a striking piece of contemporary architecture in the waterfront district.
  • Rotterdam... check out Dutch masterpieces in the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, go on a scenic cruise along the Nieuwe Maas river, or head to Amsterdam—less than an hour away by train—home to gabled merchant houses along the canals, the Anne Frank House, and the Van Gogh Museum.
  • Bruges... this picture-perfect Medieval city is often referred to as The Venice of the North due to its winding canals. Wander the cobbled streets as you head to the Quay of the Rosary with quaint buildings along the river, or sample one of 300 Belgian beers in the ever popular ’t Brugs Beertje pub.
  • Le Havre... stick around the coast to explore the Musée des Beaux Arts and the D-Day beaches, or you could head to Mont Saint-Michel and the Medieval town of Rouen (an hour's taxi ride away), or plan a day trip iconic French capital, Paris (around 2 hours inland by car).

Ship details
MSC Preziosa was christened by Sophia Loren in 2013, and has a real stone piazza and sweeping staircases studded with Swarovski crystals. Facilities include a theatre, a swimming pool with a bar, a bowling alley, and a 4D cinema, as well as one of the longest waterslides at sea. The MSC Aurea Spa offers branded beauty and wellness treatments for a supplement. Evening entertainment includes Broadway-style theatre productions.

All your meals are included at the two main restaurants, Golden Lobster and L'Arabesque, which serve identical menus—in the evenings these can be a 5- or 6-course meal. There are also two more casual buffet restaurants for all-day dining. After dinner, you can enjoy a nightcap in the piano bar or the jazz bar.
