Enjoyed Most
Lovely traditional seaside hotel. Bit tired in places but comfortable beds and everything works. Well worth upgrading to a superior room. Still great value and stunning views.
Other Comments
Breakfast was excellent but limited options if you didn't want a traditional English breakfast. Likewise limited menu for dinner and not very inspiring otherwise we may well have eaten dinner there.

The four of us had a very pleasant stay at East Beach Hotel. The shower head did not fit properly in its slot but it wasn't too much of a problem. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The toilet space was very restricted, I had a bit of a problem using the WC. As I said earlier, the shower head did not sit in it's holder correctly.
Other Comments
The bar was very poorly stocked, our group of four had difficulty in getting a drink that we wanted but Rocky the barman was extremely helpful and tried to sort us out with drinks. The morning we left the water was suddenly turned off without any warning so I had to use the remaining water that was in the kettle to rinse my mouth out while cleaning my teeth.

An easy to find hotel in Eastbourne. the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were a little small but had all the facilities such as tea/coffee etc although we had trouble working out the TV! The rooms were clean and warm, but our room was near an external generator so it was noisy when the window was opened. It was nice to have a bath (which was also a little small) but the hotel had a lot of character and a pleasant ambience. It was well situated some ten minutes walk from the town centre.

Excellent location, lovely sea view. Good breakfast otherwise bar food uninspiring. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Room pleasant and clean but a bit cramped. Shower in a cupboard - a bit difficult for less mobile clients - & separate toilet.

The hotel is situated right on the seafront in sight of the pier. Very friendly staff, the hotel is also very dog friendly which suited us as we have a Golden Retriever. The breakfast is fairly basic but delicious non the less.
