Why We Love This Deal
The Daily Telegraph names the "fantastic" Scandinavian restaurant at Great Scotland Yard hotel as it's "star attraction". Experience immersive dining where dishes are crafted over a Nordic open fire at Ekstedt at The Yard, inside the former Metropolitan Police HQ. Executive chef Niklas Ekstedt previously earned a Michelin star for his flagship restaurant in Stockholm.
The entire menu is cooked over a wood fire. "The result is excitingly different, totally delicious, and features lots of smoking, pickling and curing" (The Daily Telegraph).

Great Scotland Yard was the original HQ of the Metropolitan Police. Jack the Ripper suspects were interviewed here and Charles Dickens also shadowed officers that worked at the property.
The building was also used by the Ministry of Defence in both World Wars and once acted as the London residence of the Scottish Royal Family.
If you're in the mood for some sightseeing after, the property is in a great spot for it. Big Ben, Downing Street, and Trafalgar Square are all within 10 minutes' walk.
