On our arrival, room 111, the room was freezing and took at least 12 hours to come up to 17C from an electric radiator. Also no heating in the bathroom, no nice warm towels after a hot shower. This is not what one would expect from a 4 Star hotel.

Food was good just very little choice. Wife needed glutton free.

Very limited menu, but the food was great. Large room two double beds, poor heating. All lighting on same system. Draft through closed window. Quilt so thick you were to hot. Did not stay for second night left intervening meal.

Sunday opening times for the leisure centre should be increased till at least 7.00pm so guests can still enjoy as i wanted to go but they had closed by 6.00pm

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and tidy, plenty of choice at breakfast and we enjoyed our evening meal.

We had a 2 night stay in a deluxe double room, which was good. Food in the restaurant, both evening meal and breakfast, was excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Some TLC is needed, generally painting and cleaning of some carpets. The sink in our bathroom was cracked and the pedestal was not attached to the wall.

We had a great time, I had the Travelzoo offer which included afternoon tea, our room had been decorated as it was my daughter birthday, breakfast was fabulous, enjoyed the Spa facilities and the massage.

Fabulous time at the hotel, staff friendly, reception team extremely especially Nicky and Hannah, enjoyed Spa facilities, afternoon Tea and bedroom decorated for birthday a lovely touch.

we were really impressed with the superb quality of everything in the hotel. Including staff, food and the superb spa and gym.

we used the swimming pool , sauna , steam bath and the massage every day. All of which are superb. For swimming take goggles as the chlorine is on the strong side.
