Overall very satisfied with my stay. Disappointed with service in bar restaurant. "Rocked to sleep" by trains passing under the hotel building.

Need for staff training. Waiting staff need training to be aware of customers, and not be "inattentive to customers". Bar staff need training in serving "pints of Guinness ".

Great location. Very clean rooms. Quiet. No noise from road. Comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. Communal areas are dated but didn’t detract from our stay. Felt nostalgic. Would recommend and would definitely go back.

Hotel outside looks a bit drab and uninviting but inside is lovely, marble, glass and impressive. Room was compact but had everything plus more in it. We had a fridge, dressing gowns, slippers and all the usual bathroom toiletries. Bed was comfy and two different types of pillows which pleased us as we like thin pillows. Big selection at buffet break fast including a few items they will make for you, porridge, omelettes, avocado on toast. Totally recommend this hotel.

Staff were helpful as our room cards didn’t work when checked in so had to return to reception then reprogrammed and a member of staff went to our room then to make sure we could get in this time.

The good bits: Location, next to Regents Park & Lords cricket ground. Newly refurbished rooms and very comfy bed. Very good breakfast selection & staff at breakfast were very welcoming & efficient. The not so good: On arrival (quite late in the evening) reception had our booking down for the previous day with the correct name but someone elses address and contact details (blame was placed on the system). We were then allocated a room that was already occupied causing alarm to us and the occupant who was in bed ! The receptionist apologised and allocated another room to us. On checking out the following morning, we were treated with indifference by another receptionist (not so much as a 'good morning' or 'did you enjoy your stay'). In complete contrast, the concierge was an absolute delight when we were sent to him to arrange to leave our bag while we explored Regents Park.

Despite the good room, location & breakfast, we would be reluctant to stay again due to the mix up with our booking and service at reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. The room was spacious and nice and cool upon arrival. The location next to Regents park and a short walk to Marleybone was great. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Receptionist at checkout in left us waiting well after 3pm despite saying she would call us when room was ready, but she went off duty. We eventually went to enquire of a different receptionist who thought we hadn’t checked in despite telling her our room number. Room was not the promised deluxe one. However we were there for one night, so didn’t ask for a change. Bathroom was very small and awkward for sighted person, let alone someone with visual impairment.

I was rather disappointed as website stated City View came with the room. This was not the case were given a room overlooking a roundabout and the service yard for Lords cricket ground. This was full of generators and Lorry’s . The air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival , but was quickly sorted.

We enjoyed our stay at Danubius. It is in a central location for exploring, the room was well appointed and the bed really comfy. The bar was open late for a nightcap and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay at Danubius again.

On the morning of check out. (we only stayed one night) We picked up a white flannel that was rolled up with the soap etc. and as we unrolled the flannel it was filthy with what looked like excrement! it was disgusting!!! We took this to reception and they didn't seem bothered they just said they would look into to it. Very disappointing. Also we had a late check out for 12. However, the woman servicing the rooms knocked at 8 and woke us up. When we reported both the above to reception they were really not concerned it was like oh well its done now.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Comfortable well equipped rooms and bathrooms, lovely staff and good food. The location was very well placed for Baker Street and St John’s Wood tube and also buses directly across the road.

We travelled as 2 couples, visiting London for the weekend for sightseeing. The hotel parking was organised in advance at for just £30 we had parking for our entire stay. The hotel allowed us to leave our car from 7am, whilst we ventured off to central London. Check in was easy. The concierge and receptionists were very helpful and freindly. The hotel was elegant inside and everywhere was spotless. Our room was prefect for an overnight and was well appointed, clean and tidy. Breakfast was outstanding with ample choices to choose from the buffet. Restuarant staff where excellent too. Thank you for a comfortable stay. We'll be back 100%
