Why We Love This Hotel
- Horsley Place Superior Rooms are in the contemporary Horsley Place building. A £1.3 million refurbishment of the rooms was carried out in 2024.
- There's a fully equipped gym and a heated swimming pool. Access to the leisure facilities is free for guests.
- There are 75 acres of grounds to explore. These include the striking Horsley Towers. This Victorian Gothic mansion was designed by Charles Barry, who rebuilt the Houses of Parliament in the mid-1800s. It was later the home of Ada Lovelace, the pioneering computer scientist.
- Seasonally changing modern British food is on offer at The Brasserie. There is also a bar and lounge.
- The hotel sits in the Surrey countryside, with the Surrey Hills National Landscape on the doorstep. You could climb Box Hill, for far-reaching views of the countryside.
- Polesden Lacey is a National Trust-owned country house, 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. It's set in a 1600-acre estate with elegant gardens.
