Really enjoyed the venue. Location and facilities are great! The breakfast was really nice too, but the evening meal was not as good as we would have expected. However, the staff did sort out the few issues we had with the meal.

A lovely, well presented hotel in a lovely area, within easy walking distance of Hampton Court and only 5 miles from Kew Gardens. There was always plenty of staff around and all were polite and friendly. The sporting facilities looked very good although we didn't make use of them in our short stay. Our classic room was small but well maintained but I wouldn't want to stay in a classic room longer than a couple of days. The bathroom was very small and rainfall showers aren't my favourite but it was functional and clean.

The resort is on the banks of the Thames with good walks along the towpath nearby. It was convenient for local pubs and restaurants and had plenty of well maintained grounds leading down to the river.

As a deal including a double room, 2 drinks and breakfast for £89 it was very good value. However it is definitely a "resort" with a lot of families and young children using the facilities. Noisy and messy in the lounge/bar/dining area. Classic room was adequate. Broken blind, mould on window sill, small bathroom with good shower but no shelves to put anything on. BUT very nice location on the Thames, Teddington Lock nearby, Teddington has lots of interesting shops and places to eat. Easy walk to Teddington station.

Unfortunately we did not have our evening meal at the Lensbury as they informed us that some items were not on the menu. We had intended to eat with you. The wait to check in at 3pm was excessive-too many people and not enough staff. We had arrived early to have an explore and some lunch and then had to wait 30 minutes to check in at 3. Our allocated room, 262 had a broken air conditioning unit and we did not wish to open the window as you could hear the kitchen extraction even during the day with the window closed. I had to put ear plugs in at night to stop being disturbed by the noise from it.

A great location right on the Thames with lovely outdoor spaces. The hotel is nice - it was a little chaotic when we stayed as they're renovating the entrance to their health club so everyone using it was tramping through the hotel reception and bar/restaurant. Breakfast was a little bit frenetic as there were people heading to the tennis courts, swimming, gym etc whilst you were trying to get food! They probably need a better system while things are being done up. Otherwise though it was a nice hotel and good stay.

Queue to check in at 3pm was a mile long. Rooms were not ready and still not ready at 4.15. Chaos. The room we were eventually offered was not in the hotel, in conference block and we refused to stay there. Lounge area was not cleaned, sticky floor, banana skin, glasses not cleared.

Big queue for check-in and I could hear some peoples' rooms were still not available an hour after check-in time.
The hotel looked impressive from outside, however, the bar area was run down and needed an improvement. Seats were worn and padding had gone in some seats. The bar area definitely wasn't welcoming and a place I would choose to use again.
There was not enough staff at breakfast as they couldn't keep up with replenishing the buffet. I couldn't understand why a member of staff was prioritising replenishing the pastries when the beans and mushrooms had completely run out. I then had to wait at least 5 mins with my plate of food now getting cold until the beans arrived. I was also told that the mushrooms had run out as they'd not received a delivery. If that was the case, surely you'd be quick to remove the bowl and sign so not to let people know they were an option.
The hot water urn was not keep an eye on and run out, so then I had to re-queue to get hot water from the coffee machine.

The staff were extremely friendly. Excellent customer service especially from the kitchen and service staff at breakfast. Everywhere was extremely clean from the rooms, the grounds and the leisure centre. My room however although clean was very small and the bathroom layout could have been better. The shelf position above the small sink was awkward and made brushing my teeth uncomfortable.
The room was supposed to be for 2 people but was only suitable for 1 person. One person had to move for the other to go to the bathroom from the main room. Also, the chair by the desk had to be picked up to move it, as it did not have wheels and therefore awkward for my 82-year-old mum.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean and helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was exceptional, can’t speak highly enough of our overnighter at the Lensbury. Was looking to book again, shame the offer has disappeared from TravelZoo.

Went as a couple (= double bedroom) but voucher for one 150ml glass… A voucher for 2 glasses of 125 ml would be more appropriate?

Beautiful setting, lovely grounds, nice dining areas, lovely swimming pool but terrible outdated old bedrooms. Creaking floorboards, noisy plumbing and our first room had just a standard double bed. We were moved for last 2 nights to a room with a King size bed.

Stayed for 3 nights, good atmospherein the hotel, great location, smart area, good choice of local restaurants and pubs. Lovely ground and public areas especially the glass extension. Our room was adequate, but we were above the plant room with constant humming making sleep difficult. We were asked if we’d had a good night’s sleep by one of the management team at breakfast time, and said “ not great due to the noise. He asked at reception if there was another room available but there was not. However when we checked out, were listed in another room, which must have been available, but we were not told about this - a missed communication in the system so where. This was a pity as a room change would have been much appreciated

We really enjoyed the hotel, spa & breakfast. The only downside was that the room was very small, not a problem as we only slept there. But the floor was extremely creaky which was really annoying (probably for the people below us as well! )

Lovely surroundings & close to Teddington Lock. The pool, sauna, steam room & changing areas were very nice, clean and spacious. Also a family changing room which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good.

Communication problem with reservations, they didn’t have our room available the first night so they put us in a twin room for the first night then upgraded to a deluxe double for the last two nights. Bit of a pain having to move rooms.

Checked in the room given, the bed sheets were soiled and I mean soiled obviously the sheets had not been changed.
Given another room, very small broken lights and shabby, put sign out to have room cleaned in the morning returned late afternoon room not done, had to go and hunt down a cleaners trolley to get clean towels

The one big negative about the rooms was that the TV was far too small for the size of the room. Its 2024 and the TV's need to be updated and be much bigger.

We had a really nice time and thought the space, soft play and pool were great and the staff generally friendly and helpful, and it was excellent for kids.
There were a few hiccups though: I booked two rooms and called in advance especially to ask that they be near each other as we were bringing a toddler and to help with that, but in the event they couldn't have been further away from each other: one in the main building and one in Ascot. The hotel also seemed quite short staffed particularly at meal times: we waited ages for our dinners to arrive and a couple of the dishes just aren't very nice (the feta peppers, bang bang cauliflower and the spicy calabrese (which is actually sweet not spicy)). The fish and chips was good though.

It was a great deal on travelzoo. Unfortunately the room that you are allocated is very tired, furniture is all scratched and not a very luxury room (completely expected for the price). We went to the pool, and we were hoping that the pool would have loungers around to chill out but that wasn’t the case. It was a v functional pool. In advance I contacted the hotel to let them know that we were celebrating my husband’s 50th - I was hoping that they may have made some effort with the room or during our dinner, but no mention was made, despite telling the restaurant staff also during the day.

Breakfast and swimming pool were excellent and staff were very attentive. The Maintenance man heard my husband mention that the shower door was loose and tightened it once we'd gone out for the day. Bedroom was compact but perfectly. We'd thoroughly recommend the hotel.

The welcome was warm and the room very smart and comfortable. The location in Teddington was ideal in a lovely spot over looking the Thames. A 20 minute walk took us to the station and directly into London and all its attractions. Kew Gardens, Ham Court and Hampton Palace quite close too. Sports facilities looked good and are popular with locals.
Our only criticism was the food on offer. Poor and expensive choices, limited vegetarian, no pizzas, no puddings offered and inedible salads. Breakfast food was cold. After a long journey I could have done with more than a bowl of tomato soup and a packet of peanuts! As compensation there are some lovely pubs in short walking distance which we used on subsequent nights.

When we arrived at 3pm to book in, told they were not sure if room was ready so take a seat and someone call you. After 15 minutes we checked with reception to find our room was ready.
We went to the bar for complimentary drink and when asked for a beer, was told we could only have lager. Lager is not a beer.

We had a good stay at the hotel. The checking in staff were overwhelmed as it was busy. The bar prices were London prices and the drinks voucher did not work for the majority of drinks. The food was well cooked but arrived cold. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful in all areas.

The Moldavian lady who took our lunch order was the opposite to reception staff, most friendly, pleasant and efficient. I would emphasise that the awful food was in no way a reflection on the waiting staff, who were also pleasant and helpful.
The actual premises and location are excellent, we would have been happy to pay extra for a larger room and bed, had we known how small ours would be.
Other Comments
Some reception staff long winded chatting to guests at head of a growing queue and completely oblivious to those waiting, although we were early and understand that our room wasn't ready, but to be told "no idea" when it would is unacceptable. We are an elderly couple and it would have been polite to have been asked if we would like our bags carried to the store room, instead of just marching ahead.
The lunchtime club sandwich and evening meal of a spicy pizza were probably the worst I have ever had in any hotel that I've ever stayed in, in over 50 different countries.

Lovely one night stay in a standard double room. Bed is only a double bed so that's my only criticism as rest of hotel is great. Breakfast was first class. Andy at bar was giving excellent service. Grounds are great. Walk to Thames is so beautiful. Sports facilities and pool and gym first class .would definitely go again

Only problem was leaving overflow car park. You need a PIN number from reception. If only she had told me at check out. When you reach the gates, they do not open automatically. You then notice a sign about the PIN number. By then you are in a queue, unable to reverse and reception more than 100M away. Why not make handing over the PIN number routine procedure?

The classic room was really small and overlooked the flat roof where all the generators were, so there was a constant humming all night.
Asked for upgrade but the hotel was full.
Wasn't aware that the spa had to be booked,so it was full and we were unable have a treatment.
Used the gym a little which was good.
