The Gardens & Grounds to Visit for Botanical Inspiration

That's right, folks, 10-16 April is National Gardening Week: a full seven days in which to celebrate the green, green grass of… well, gardens, really.
Whether your own yard is more concrete jungle than landscaped loveliness or you're an established gardener looking for tips and inspiration, there are plenty of gorgeous gardens up and down the country to admire. Here are some of our favourite outdoorsy Travelzoo deals around England and Wales.
Northeast
£7.50 – Harewood House: Grounds & Below Stairs Entry
How do 100 acres of grounds sound to start off your gardening adventure? The gardens at Grade I-listed Harewood House near Leeds were originally designed by landscape artist Capability Brown, and boast a Georgian walled garden, a Himalayan garden and a bird garden. And the view from inside the 18th-century manor - which was featured in ITV period drama "Victoria" - isn't too shabby either.
You'll also get access to the grounds if you choose to visit for the Great British Food Festival instead.
Midlands

£6 – Staffordshire: Food Festival at Weston Park
You can explore the gardens at Weston Park - also originally laid out in the 1800s by Capability Brown - and entertain your tastebuds with treats at the Great British Food Festival, too. The grounds feature walled gardens, a labyrinth and mazes, as well as a sensory garden to satisfy even the keenest of gardeners.
Wales

£12 – Entry for 2 to National Botanic Garden of Wales

You can visit with a friend for £6 each, and soak up as much botanical inspiration as possible for a day.
Northwest

£6 – Arley Hall Food Festival & Garden Entry
With eight acres of formal gardens to meander around, there's plenty for the green-fingered to explore at Arley Hall. And if you wanted further proof that spring has sprung, just take a look at the daffodil and wildflower meadow!
For £6 you can visit the hall for the Great British Food Festival, which also includes entry to the gardens.
Southwest

£9 – Cotswolds: Entry for 2 to Kelmscott Manor & Gardens
Kelmscott Manor was the summer retreat of Arts and Crafts artist William Morris, and it's easy to see how this glorious setting could have inspired his creativity and love of botanical prints.

Southeast

£35 – The Beth Chatto Gardens: Annual Membership for 2
