Dine for Less Near London's Top Attractions

10 Aug 2016

For me, London is the greatest city in the world. A melting pot of culture, history, art, business and food – it truly is the city to rule them all.

It can also be exhausting though. As a visitor, it's easy to find yourself fighting through throngs of tourists in your quest to take in some of the world's most iconic landmarks.

Well, there's not a whole lot we can do about the crowds. But when it comes to recharging your batteries and enjoying some great food, we can certainly let you in on a few secrets. Avoid the overpriced tourist traps with these London restaurant deals, all within a stone's throw of the biggest attractions.

Asia de Cuba

Close to: National Gallery (5-min walk)

Why we love it: Housed within the "unique" and "stylish" (The Michelin Guide 2016) St Martins Lane hotel in Covent Garden, Asia de Cuba serves up Cuban food with an Asian twist. With this deal, you can now save up to 53% on three courses and a bellini cocktail.

Diciannove

Close to: Tate Modern (15-min walk)

Why we love it: This 2-AA-Rosette is located in the Grade II-listed Crowne Plaza London – The City hotel. With this offer, you and a friend save up to 55% on a 3-course dinner with wine at the "slick Italian operation" (The AA Restaurant Guide 2016).

Dukes London

Close to: Buckingham Palace (10-min walk)

Why we love it: If it's a touch of "old London charm" (Glamour) you're after, then Dukes in St James's has it in abundance. For £26 a head, you can indulge in a gin-and-tonic afternoon tea at the 3-AA-Rosette venue; what better way to replenish during a busy day sightseeing?

Elena's L'Etoile

Close to: British Museum (10-min walk)

Why we love it: Known as a bit of a celebrity hang-out, as the collection of photographs on the walls suggests, this Charlotte St eatery opened its doors over a century ago. Travelzoo members can sample a French 3-course meal with wine for £20 a head.

One Twenty One Two at The Royal Horseguards

Close to: London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament (10-min walk)

Why we love it: Get a 3-course Sunday lunch and bubbly at this top spot that provides diners with "unrivalled views of the London Eye and city skyline" (The AA), for just £25 per person. The venue boasts two AA Rosettes.
