- Llangoed Hall sits in 17 acres of Welsh countryside. Get lost in the garden maze, ramble down to the River Wye, and keep an eye out for Goldie the resident pheasant.
- The property was once owned by Sir Bernard Ashley and restored in honour of his wife, Laura Ashley. Spot signature textiles and wallpaper throughout the hotel and its 23 individually designed bedrooms.
- The restaurant overlooks the gardens and valley. Food is sourced using local ingredients, with fruit and vegetables handpicked from the hotel kitchen's garden.
- One member who stayed described it as a "peaceful rural setting which encourages relaxation". Another said, "The staff were exceptional, the food amazing, and the whole ambience delightful".
- Hay-on-Wye, the world-renowned town of books, is less than 20 minutes' drive from the hotel. As in Brecon, a gateway to the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.

What a wonderful place. The hotel is stunning, with all the beautiful art work and lovely furnishings. The grounds are gorgeous and lovely to wander around, particularly if you have a dog.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff and a particular mention to Abbey, Jeff and Adrian who made our stay even more special. Nothing was too much of a problem.
The food was superb and our dog was very well looked after too.

It was hilarious when the cow was on the loose! I was worried she would end up in the maze.

A peaceful rural setting which encourages relaxation and pleasant walks around the grounds and walled garden with plenty of fruiting trees also walks to the River Wye nearby.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming, food was good, our deluxe room was excellent.
It was good to return after a long gap to find every effort being made to maintain and run this lovely property in the manner it deserves.
