It took quite a few emails to get to a date that was "free". On our first evening I looked the hotel up on "booking.com" and saw there were still rooms available- we must've been given the naffest room because we had "travelzoo vouchers". We were given a room with THE fire exit. This was not mentioned to us when we checked in. This meant that if there was a fire, everyone would evacuate through our room. The door did not lock properly because it was a special lock connected to the fire alarm (it would automatically unlock if the alarm was activated), we asked how to lock it from the inside, and were told how it closed, there was no demonstration. We came back one day to find the door open as the cleaner (?) hadn't made sure the door was closed. The window to the room was part of the fire exit door and opened fully meaning it couldn't be left open during the night. (The room was very warm). As we're leaving we found others' hairs on the pillow cases.

Lovely setting, staff very friendly. Food good and value for money. Smashing pint of Robinson's cask ale on hand pull at a decent price. Our room although clean and tidy was very small. You get what you pay for.

A good base for exploring Anglesey. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The room was a little tired looking but had a lovely sea view. Shower was ok but not much power. Overall it was good value for money.

Booked a twin room and upgraded, when we arrived it was a double bed and were told the original bed had broken and there was nothing they could do and no compensation offered even when I asked for some. Really badly handled customer service.
