Overall very good apart from restaurant.
Other Comments
Restaurant fod not very good. Paid restaurant prices for deeply average pub type food. One dish was returned and replaced by an acceptable alternative but still not sparkling. Dined out at a local pub for next two nights at half the price and got excellent food there. Hotel needs to up it's restaurants standards.

Other Comments
Room was average, despite upgrading was small, also sink blocked, toilet flush poor, hair in bed, also corridors and stairwell smelt unpleasant, rooms in need of modernising as look old and unwelcoming

Other Comments
Food OK but not brilliant. Good range with large portions which unfortunately puts me off. My main comment however was the cost of the wine which given the poor quality had a 5 times mark up. On my final night I bought a 175ml glass of Merlot costing over £10, for a wine of dubious quality. I could have bought a bottle of this quality for way under £10, hence my suggestion of a 5 times mark up, which is excessive. Did enjoy the Mahou however,
