Why We Love This Hotel

  • You can take in views of Liverpool's dynamic skyline and the Mersey. The hotel's bar and terrace and restaurant both have impressive waterfront views.
  • All rooms have wall-mounted motifs of Liverpool attractions. Superior rooms are larger than Standard rooms and have added toiletries.
  • Liverpool's waterfront is a 2-minute stroll from the hotel. You'll see the Royal Liver Building, one of the iconic "Three Graces" that overlook the Mersey.
  • Royal Albert Dock—for a host of dining options—is 15 minutes' walk away.
  • There are a host of other attractions within 15 minutes' walk, too. Tate Liverpool is currently housed at Mann Island on the waterfront by the Liver Building. The Wheel of Liverpool, the Museum of Liverpool, and the World Museum are nearby too.
  • The Cavern Club, where The Beatles played many of their early gigs, is less than 10 minutes away. Fab Four fans can also check out The Beatles Story museum at the Royal Albert Dock.

Third time I have stayed here. Staff in Reception very friendly and helpful. Handy to have parking just round the corner. Air conditioning in room a bit noisy.

We arrived early and didn't want to pay early check-in fee so asked if we could leave our rucksack. We were told this would cost us £5. We were not prepared to pay to leave a small rucksack so took it with us. This is the first hotel we have ever stayed at that has charged for leaving bags. We do feel this should be a complementary service. Apart from that we had a lovely stay in a fabulous premier room with a great breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were given a fantastic room overlooking the Liver Building and the Mersey. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room facilities were good. We also enjoyed our breakfast. The only negative was that there was only one of the three lifts working but this didn’t affect us too much. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again soon.

We were booked for 2 nights in a superior double room with breakfast. The room was spacious and clean with a great view. Only downside was the sealed windows were dirty which did affect the views. The carpet was worn and dirty in places too.
Other Comments
Considering it was a12 floor hotel which was quite busy there was only one working lift. The other 2 were out of order awaiting parts. This made the wait for the working lift a long time. It was small and claustrophobic too. The repair of the other 2 lifts should be a priority.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The view from the room was ideal and the position of the hotel for visiting the attractions and the shopping was excellent.
