"Brilliant location at Liverpool 1, close to Victoria and Albert Docks and the Pier Head. It's across the road from L1 bus station so there are easy links to other parks of Merseyside and National Express and Felix buses for further afield. Check in was easy, the room was spacious with good views as well. The bathroom was great. I loved have a bath tub."

The arrival experience could be improved; reception staff felt cold and unhelpful upon check-in. Fortunately, the room, breakfast staff and location made up for the initial impression

It would be great if a non-alcoholic option (like nosecco or a mocktail) was offered for non-drinkers instead of the complimentary Prosecco.

Breakfast receptionist showed you to a table and then reserved it so you didn't have to fight for a table. The location was very convenient for shopping and Hop On Hop Off buses.
Other Comments
Mix up over city tax - paid twice and had to explain and complain to reception before it was refunded. Air conditioning wasn't working and had to be reported three times before it was fixed. Breakfast options were adequate but basic and crowded around food counters and coffee machines.

Lovely welcome. Great hotel room overlooking the wheel and the harbour. Very comfortable room with comfy mattress, great TV and coffee and tea facilities. Breakfasts were great especially as I'm a gluten free person, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Evening meals were good value too.

Overall very pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, but only one type of pillow, which I found too hard. Good location, asked for high floor and got the 6th floor. There was a strange noise some of the time which was a shame but with the window shut it was OK.Staff great abpart from reception staff who didn't tell me the way to insert my room card. And I ended up having to go back to reception when I couldn't get in :-)
