- The hotel is located on Kings Waterfront. The Royal Albert Dock—home to Tate Liverpool—is five minutes' walk away.

From reception staff to bar staff and breakfast service staff, everyone was welcoming and polite. All came over happy in their work.

Plenty of choice at breakfast and tables were kept clean. I saw the service lady wiping the chairs every time someone left the table. Good to see conscientious staff. Well done.

What rather ruined it was that a bottle of Prosecco was not given to us upon arrival. Also there ew3as no fridge in the room. So were phoned about it only to be told that we would have been given a voucher when we booked in but we were not and we had to go and ask and be cross examined befor being given the bottle.

Excellent stay @ Liverpool Leonardo - great location on the docks , nearby to museums and Liverpool One shopping . Superior room was excellent with super view of the docks . Bar area was busy/friendly and free bottle Prosecco was excellent . Breakfast was average hotel fayre , but frustratingly only served to 9.30am on weekdays . Parking 24 hours was discounted from £27 to £18 , still fairly expensive .
Liverpool is a great walkable city and this Travelzoo offer was excellent value - strongly recommended.

Check-in was really easy and Receptionist was friendly. We were early and didn't expect our room to be ready but it was, which was good. Our room was really nice, clean and modern. The bed was comfy and room temperature was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very well cooked and there was plenty choice. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in The Leonardo again.

The hotel is a long way from the center of Liverpool, its ok for concerts at the M&S Arena but otherwise everywhere is a trek. Unfortunately most of our party fell ill with a serious bug which seemed to come from the Hotel so our trip was spoilt.

On previous visits we were allocated rooms on the 6th floor, this time it was 4th floor. Room was just as comfortable but this floor had slightly noisy Australian footballer girls on it and my sleep got disturbed a couple of times. As always all staff in reception, restaurant and bar were lovely. We're returning in December

A wonderful stay we could not complain about anything! The hotel and room was very clean. We were on the 5th floor and the room had a view of the wheel and river, we had a bath with shower. Had a great experience at this hotel, great location, close to docks and only short walk into town. Lovely spaceous rooms with great views. A lovely bottle of bubbly included in our booking which we enjoyed there before heading out to town. Staff friendly. Great breakfast, slightly busy, but not a bother. Parked nearby in John Lewis centre car park, 24 hrs.

Great view of the wheel from the room. When my phone fell and broke during check in Edward barman showed me on his phone where shops were to see if I could get it fixed. Receptionist very busy but on second visit down there male receptionist managed to set my heating a bit warmer. Breakfast was excellent. Was so grateful when Pam handed in my purse that I forgotten in my room with all my cards in it after I had checked out.

We had a lovely stay at the Leonardo hotel. The hotel is ideally placed at the Albert Dock right next door to the M&S arena and the Liverpool eye. Easy t get about via the docks which have lots of restaurants and a few shops. Easy to get into Liverpool Centre. The staff are all lovely and friendly and our stay was most enjoyable. We would definitely go here again.

Very peasant staff, this hotel has no car park, however discounted parking is available close by. I asked about disabled parking and the staff arranged for me to use the hotel next door’s secure parking and there was no charge. Can’t fault that.

We had been at the Leonardo in Chester the night before and this was a slightly better stay. There was a convention happening close by and this made the hotel very busy (especially bar & breakfast) - that said, we would return to the hotel for a future stay.

Booked through Travelzoo at excellent price to attend a concert at Anfield. Signs up in reception giving bus routes etc for concert, so easy and cheap to get to Anfield as bus terminal just over the road. Room was upgraded and we got a free bottle of fizz! Excellent.

Cooked breakfast was very poor. Fried eggs were literally thrown into a dish, all overcooked & in a solid pile. People discussed the food on display was worse than a "Joe's cafe" Restaurant staff were miserable not a smile between them. Dropped utensils were just put into the serving dishes after being advised by one of our group. Bar staff are totally opposite, smiles greeted us, good banter, very helpful

First rate location in a hotel that provided great value for money given the deal. Wide selection of food for breakfast, evening food was more basic but fine. All levels of staff very attentive.

My husband is a paralysed wheelchair user and we stayed in an accessible room. Yes there was plenty of space to manoeuvre a wheelchair and yes there was a roll in shower which were both appreciated. However the wardrobe area was illogical with fixed coathangers on a higher level rail with none on the lower level rail which would be accessible from a wheelchair. Ironically, although ironing facilities were available again, the iron was fixed to the wall at a level that could not be reached by someone in a wheelchair. I would suggest that as a compromise half the fixed coathangers be put on the lower level or just put additional fixed coathangers on the lower level and Resite the iron.

Location was amazing and staffvery friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to move rooms as our first room had a very string smell of urine. We were moved very quickly and easily so staff were very good.
On the last night in our second room the toilet cistern would not stop running water which was noisy. ( incidentaly this was also an additional problem in the first room)
We did have some money deducted from our bill for the inconvenience which again was a welcome gesture by staff.
I feel the rooms were lacking some maintenance and deep cleaning which was a shame but we still enjoyed the stay . Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice and again staff were very good.

Beautiful comfy room, was upgraded to executive. Reception staff really helpful and friendly. Breakfast a bit chaotic on Monday but cooked food when it finally came out was hot and cooked well. Didn’t bother with breakfast on Tuesday. We had a bottle of Prosecco included in our package and was disappointed that they never had a cold bottle - we brought it home with us

My wife became ill 2 days before we were due to go. I advised the hotel of our inability to attend due to her illness and asked if we could remake the booking and attend in the near future when she was recovered. They said that the terms of the booking stated that the date was fixed. We therefore had to forgo the booking and remained at home.

Perfectly located for all local sights and events. it’s really clean and comfortable and the staff were just brilliant. Rooms had everything I needed and it’s has a nice bar, efficient and well presented reception area and provides a good breakfast service. An added bonus was close and discounted parking. We had a great time here and would certainly use this hotel again. Thanks for a great stay.
