Hotel details
Built in the mid-1900s, Thoresby Hall is a Grade I-listed stately home. It is set in more than 1000 acres of parkland and woodland adjoining Sherwood Forest. The historic building retains many original features, including a grand staircase and an impressive dining room.
Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, a cinema, and a games room. Numerous daily activities are available, from dance classes and yoga to gardener-led tours of the extensive grounds (selected supplements apply). Appropriately for a hotel in Robin Hood Country, archery is also on offer. After a 3-course dinner of local, seasonal fare, enjoy entertainment from live bands, comedians, and DJs.
Standard Rooms are in the hotel's contemporary building. Wi-Fi, parking, and tea- and coffee-making facilities with biscuits are all free. Dining options include the Blue Room restaurant, which offers refined modern dining and has been reimagined for 2026. There's also the Market Kitchen, Brasserie 32, and the Manvers Bar.
