We were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our room early as it was ready. Uppingham is a gorgeous place with beautiful stone buildings and great shops and restaurants. The Falcon Hotel is a lovely old building with lots of character and charm. The room was small but had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was varied and nicely presented by again very friendly staff.

The staff at this Hotel is the strong point, reception and waiting staff are the best I’ve ever come across, so friendly and helpful but in a very warm way.
The room was lovely and every thing you could wish for, bed linen and towels excellent, bathroom could do with a tidy up with the silicon!

Great hotel in a perfect location, right in the square. There’s only a small car park but if you can’t get in you can park in the pay and display next door and the hotel will reimburse you.
Staff are a credit to the hotel. They are friendly, professional and go over and beyond. The food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. We ate in Fern and the meal was delicious. Rooms are nice but I found d our best be too firm but still a good comfortable room.

My only criticism is there are no safety grab rails by the bath which made it difficult to feel fully safe getting in and out to use the shower over the bath.

This is a lovely old building on the Square in Uppingham.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The bar had 3 handpumps which is unusual in hotels and we enjoyed the beer on offer. Parking was at the back of the hotel. All in all a very pleasant experience

There was ample parking, the rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we could possibly desire.
We at at the associated bistro across the road Dom Paddys where the food was gorgeous.
I can't recommend a stay at this hotel more highly.

On arrival we were given one of the warmest welcomes we have ever experienced. We were given plenty of local information and assistance with our luggage. Our room was spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable.
Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The staff throughout our stay were friendly, informative and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in the centre of Uppingham and is a delightful old property that has been modernised very sympathetically to ensure the original features remain whilst guests enjoy all modern comforts. The room was well equipped with everything one could want including a very extensive supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. The lounge area is spacious, comfortable and well used. Breakfast was of a very high quality.

My friend and I booked this hotel as it is mid way between where we both loved. It was a great choice. Uppingham is a delightful town in a great location, close to Rutland Water for walking. The hotel is a little gem - historic, incredibly warm and welcoming with lovely, helpful staff who seem to never stop smiling. We were upgraded to a suite which was perfect for us. We both particularly enjoyed the cosy ambience of the hotel and excellent food.
