Set in 170 acres of grounds in the Shropshire countryside, The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a 4-star property with facilities including an 18-hole golf course, a gym, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa (fees apply). There is also a restaurant that looks out over the Severn Valley, and a bar that has views of Ironbridge Gorge.
The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the gorge is around 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The focal point of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world's first-ever iron bridge, which was constructed in 1779. There are also several museums that tell the story of the Industrial Revolution, including a recreated Victorian town.
You can reach the edge of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape in around 30 minutes by car. Telford town centre with its 450-acre park, railway station, and abundance of bars, shops, and restaurants, is around 10 minutes' drive from the hotel.
