This historic hotel sits in the ruins of the Brecon Castle, founded in 1093. The site of Welsh uprisings, noble feuds, and royal visits, the property is now a newly refurbished recruit to The Coaching Inn Group with an abundance of character.
You'll be in a prime spot for exploring the surrounding Welsh countryside. The Brecon Beacons and the Monmouthshire canal are on the doorstep, with walking routes aplenty, from mountain hikes to riverside strolls. Soak up some history at the adjoining Brecon Castle, or explore Careg Cennen Castle, around an hours' drive away.
