Hotel details
Crewe Hall offers easy access to the Cheshire countryside. There is an abundance of walking and cycling trails on the doorstep. If you're looking for a day trip, you'll be spoilt for choice. Explore the monkey forest at Trentham Gardens, or the National Trust gardens at Tatton Park or Biddulph Grange. Alternatively, visit the Wedgwood Museum—all are around 30 minutes away by car.
The hotel is divided between two wings. The original Grade I-listed property with its Great Library, grand Jacobean Hall, and period features. Or the modern West Wing with contemporary rooms, the spa, and restaurant. Guests get access to The Health Club and Spa. Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts, a gym, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and a steam room. A range of pampering treatments are also on offer (charges apply).
The Brasserie Restaurant serves classic British fare at lunch and dinner. Sample cocktails in the stylish Sheridan Bar, or indulge in afternoon tea in the lounge. There's also a Terrace Bar for drinks in the spring sunshine. After a hearty dinner, "the hotel grounds are the perfect place for a Jane Austen-style stroll," says The Mirror.
