A lovely hotel just outside of Stow on the Wold. I met up with friends and had a great time in Stow and at the hotel. The hotel is well presented and the bedrooms spacious and modern. The food and drinks were excellent though thought the food was somewhat pricey. Good space for parking.
Overall the price for B&B was good.
This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely return and recommend it to friends.
Other Comments
There are 2 things that I would suggest to improve this hotel..
1. Whilst I had my AC on the lowest temperature and window open it was still very warm in the room so I'd suggest a fan be available.
2. The food prices are somewhat pricey ie £35 for a Steak...if the prices were a little lower it would encourage others to use the dining room or desserts.
Overall we had a great stay at the hotel and we'll be back.

We had a great couple of days at the hotel. The staff were great, good service. Very comfortable room.

Evening meal in The Yew Tree restaurant was a little disappointing. Beef was tough and the chips were greasy. Also the knives could be sharper!

Really warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and my dietary requirements were taken care of. We had a really relaxing stay, the bed was super comfy and the room had everything we needed. Really great location to reach many places. Full size Molton Brown toiletries were a lovely and surprise touch. Will definitely return without hesitation.
