More Reasons to Go
- The Rosevine is a Georgian country-house hotel located above Porthcurnick beach. It's on the Roseland Peninsula, which is part of the Cornwall National Landscape.
- The interiors include upcycled and locally sourced furniture, large bay windows, and a wood-burning stove. You can take in extensive ocean views from the hotel restaurant.
- Facilities include a heated indoor pool, an outdoor ping-pong table, and a subtropical garden. There's also a playroom with shelves of books and games.
- Studios are located a short stroll from the main house. They include a kitchenette, a patio, and a garden area.
- Overlooking Gerrans Bay, the hotel has plenty of coastal walks nearby. Pretty Portscatho is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. You'll find quaint cottages, narrow roads, and bobbing fishing boats in the harbour.

Some aspects of the rooms were very tired eg shower tap fell off! However, the offer, plus the upgrade, lovely breakfasts and responsible, professional staff more than made up for any deficit.

We loved the garden studio, nice and private.
Delicious breakfasts & excellent dinner, with friendly, attentive staff.
What a fabulous setting, too. We had the very cold sea to ourselves!

Excellent service and meal choice.

The hotel needs a bit of TLC.
A lick of paint all round would make the ambience much better.

Fabulous position, food was excellent and staff very helpful. Swimming pool very relaxing.
No garden furniture cushions put out so sitting in the sun a little uncomfortable.
Other Comments
Staff service would have had full marks had it not been that I went to the reception and looked around the whole ground floor for staff, including the kitchen, on two occasions on the first night but could not find a staff member for more milk in our room anywhere

Remote location. Easier to walk into Portscatho than to drive. Excellent friendly, efficient staff. Good food and restaurant with views of the bay but could be improved with a segregated bar area. Large rooms with comprehensive facilities.
