Itinerary
- Vancouver... explore this city's nightlife and restaurants—visit Gastown's cobbled streets, or the adjacent Chinatown. Entry to the 130-metre-long Capilano Suspension Bridge is included. Collect your hire car from Vancouver airport—prepare for a scenic drive.
- Whistler... enjoy the spectacular drive along the Sea to Sky Highway, past the Coast Mountains. Whistler is famous for winter sports, but its lakes and forests are enchanting all year. You could take a canopy walk to appreciate the views, or paddle in Alta Lake. Watch out for black bears on your included wildlife excursion.
- Sun Peaks... a popular ski resort, this stop is also known for biking, hiking, and golf. Wander the Alpine nature hiking route, then head to a cafe in the pedestrian village. A great way to explore the lush landscape is renting an e-bike.
- Revelstoke... this town on the banks of the Columbia River is known for its adventure sports. You could take up canoeing, kayaking, or white-water-rafting. Glacier National Park, and its beautiful ancient forests, is a 30-minute drive from Revelstoke.
- Nelson... stop for a soak in Halycyon Hot Springs on the way to this former mining town. Once there, admire the well-preserved silver-rush houses. Look over Kootenay Lake, and take the ferry across to Kootenay Bay. We recommend heading to Ainsworth Hot Springs, a 45-minute drive from Nelson. Here, you can swim in thermal waters through caves.
- Okanagan Valley... lastly, you'll head west to wine country. This valley is famous for its vineyards and mild climate. Sample local food and drink, and relax on lakeside beaches in the towns here. Your base will be Osoyoos, home to the warmest lake in Canada. Further north you'll find waterfalls, boating hotspots, and Knox Mountain Park.
