Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of menu for breakfast and dinner. Great to see the martins flying in and out of the rafters.

Beautiful location, would definitely visit again. The rooms are a tad dated , simple things like the soap dispenser was broke and clearly had been for a while. When people were in the corridor of your room area it was quite noisy . The rooms were spacious and clean , the bed was comfortable. SABDEN has a lot to offer .

The hotel was a little dated but our room in the annexe was fine with views across the countryside. The wall was very thin though and we could hear every word from the couple in the next room. Luckily they asked to be moved to the main hotel and we then had a very peaceful night! The afternoon tea was lovely and the evening meal was excellent. I had the beef and my husband had the pork strips. The only criticism is that there was no marmalade available at breakfast. I did request some but was told they didn't have any. We had a short walk around the grounds and were disappointed to see a lot of weeds and neglected areas which was surprising as I know they host weddings there. Overall We had a nice stay and it was excellent value for money.
