The Hide at Chatsworth is on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate in the Peak District. It has direct access to the estate's 14,000 hectares of park and moorland. Overnight stays for two, including dining credit each, are £125 from January–March. That saves 22–26% on booking direct with the hotel.

The property has recently reopened after a full refurbishment. Reclaimed furniture has been paired with contemporary pieces. Side tables by local maker sit alongside former school chairs and repurposed metal lamps from Chatsworth. Curtains are made on the estate, using British-made wool.
The Hide Grill and Pizzeria serves a menu inspired by outdoor cooking. Ingredients are locally sourced, including from estate farms and gardens.
Rooms have countryside views, free Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Chatsworth House, the seat of the Duke of Devonshire, is 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The house and its impressive gardens are due to reopen for 2026 in March. While it's closed to the public, guests at The Hide can book conservation tours (subject to availability; supplements apply).*
Guests can also use the facilities at the Chatsworth Health Club, including a swimming pool gym. Or, you can on the River Derwent, normally reserved for members only (supplements apply).
The pretty town of Bakewell is famous for its pies and puddings. It's around 15 minutes' drive from the hotel.
The Peak District has a huge choice of walking and cycling routes. One of the most accessible is the Monsal Trail on a former railway line. It runs from near Bakewell to Wye Dale and takes in beautiful country and valley views.
