More Reasons to Go
- The Wood Norton lies in the Vale of Evesham, between the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills.
- The Grade-II mansion has a varied history. In the late 1800s, it was home to Prince Philippe, a pretender to the throne of France. It later became a montitoring base for the BBC during WWII and was featured in multiple episodes of "Doctor Who".
- "It's wood-panelled interior is remarkable, its grounds and views halcyon" (The Daily Telegraph).
- Afternoon tea is freshly prepared by the chefs each day. In the summer months, you can enjoy it out on the terrace.

The gluten free afternoon tea was disgraceful. My friend had the normal one and there was no comparison. Mine looked like a child had made the sandwiches and the cakes were all bought in nothing was home made., they were dry, tasteless and full of artificial flavourings and chemicals.
We were sat in the bar area there was no atmosphere and next to our table was a broom, cleaning products and a mop. Once we were served our tea we didn’t see another member of staff.

General ambiance was confusing with mixed art being displayed, the pieces being totally.inappropriate for the setting
Other Comments
Food was of a very poor standard for such a supposedly select establishment

Beautiful setting and as weather was nice we were able to sit outside and enjoy the views
The food was delicious and we were able to have a second pot of tea to go with it, we stayed a little longer at the venue was so nice
Would definitely recommend to others
Other Comments
The steps from the car park are very steep and eneven surfaces, and what I would consider a hazard to some customers e.g. a person with less mobility would struggle getting up and down especially in poorer weather
