The Abbey Hotel was built in 1848 on the site of ancient monastic buildings. The property catered to visitors seeking the curative benefits of Malvern water. Today, the guestrooms offer modern amenities including Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and Nespresso machines.
The Priory View Restaurant serves seasonal cuisine with views over the Vale of Evesham. For coffee, afternoon tea, light meals, and desserts, head to the Priory View Lounge Bar.
Hikers will be in their element. There are many walking trails in the Malvern Hills across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire.
The Morgan Motor Company has manufactured sports cars locally for over 100 years. Visitors to the Morgan Experience Centre can take a tour of the factory. It is five minutes' drive from the hotel.
Sample local cider at Westons Cider Mill or head to the award-winning Three Choirs Vineyard. Both are within 30 minutes' drive of the hotel and offer tours and tastings.

We had a great time and will definitely return.
Arrival - central position in Malvern, large free car park round the back - suggest dropping off luggage at reception before parking. Charming and efficient reception staff.
Accommodation - very comfortable and clean, stylishly decorated. Generously sized beds, plenty of pillows and nice bedlinen. Nice to be able to open the bedroom window (not hermetically sealed like those of a certain chain).
Food - excellent breakfast - choice of cereals, fruits and plain yoghurts, cold meats, full English onc. black pudding, and the best hash browns we have ever eaten anywhere (reminiscent of German Kartoffelpuffer). Selection of croissants and pastries available. Evening meal - same menu available in restaurant or bar, both being very comfortable. Enjoyed a tasty light dish to start - fresh green asparagus, wrapped in Parma ham and toasted, served on delicious buttered seeded sourdough. Finished with delicious hot chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream - perfect.

We really enjoyed our experience . The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable - if rather too warm - but that’s a personal feeling. The staff were attentive and there were lots of seating areas which were great.Definitely hope to return.

Lovely hotel. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed and everything needed provided, even biscuits! Very pleasant public areas with plenty of seating. Breakfast buffet was ample with different options offered. Evening meal was tasty and well presented. Service in all areas was good. Great location for exploring the Malverns. A couple of negatives in that the car park was some distance from reception, not ideal for carrying luggage. There was a 'discretionary service charge' of 12.5% when dining. Drinks were pricey. Despite these issues we enjoyed a pleasant stay.

Arrived early and was able to leave luggage with reception and park the car whilst going to the theatre. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee making facilites available. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed an evening meal as well as buffet breakfast. The food was very good and the restaurant staff polite and friendly. Would recommend.

The only problem we had was difficulty in finding a parking space in the relatively small carpark. We tried twice, without success, on arrival between 3 and 5pm.This wasted a lot of valuable time. Hotel should warn of this when there is a special event or conference, of which there are many, as parking in the vicinity is also difficult.

We arrived mid afternoon which was earlier than planned as it was such terrible weather so preventing us from walking around the Malvern Hills. Our room had excellent facilities along with a bottle of wine as per the offer. The only negative was that our room was rather cold unlike the common areas which were comfortable and warm. We stayed in for an evening meal which was tasty but maybe a little overpriced. Breakfast however was very good with lots of variety and would suit most people especially those who like a full English! Equally though there was fruit, cereal, yogurt and continental products.
Finally being in the grounds of the Priory was beautiful. I can only add it was a shame we chose a day which didn’t allow us to get the best out of the trip!

A large hotel catering for weddings and hosting conferences in its numerous facilities. We stayed as tourists, in December there were no weddings but busy with conferences. Room ok but a long walk from the main building. Great location for the town centre. Breakfast good, restaurant/ bar expensive. Did not like the sneakey £5 charge for bottled water at dinner and also 12.5% service charge, discretionary but already added.

We stayed one night as we were going to the theatre, which is in easy walking distance. The room was modern, clean with tea and coffee available. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the bed was too firm for me.

We had a very comfortable stay for the two nights. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. The choices at breakfast were vast with the staff removing our used cutlery and crockery promptly. Bar prices were very acceptable and a large range of spirits were available. Water in the bathroom was extremely hot and plenty of it too. All in all, an extremely pleasant stay. We would certainly return there again.
