"The rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. The location to Stratford upon Avon centre was a 15 minute walk which was pleasant. The staff were friendly, service was good and food freshly prepared and served."

Nice staff, clean hotel. Although we would go back at the right price there are a couple of points to be mentioned, the decor in parts is a bit unusual, the idea of the saddles is strange. Also there is a bar in the hotel as well as a small separate pub in the grounds (only yards away). However, although we were there on a Friday and Saturday at the beginning of September the bar in the hotel wasn't staffed, we waited there for service and someone did turn up after quite a few minutes, as they saw us on CCTV. In the pub if you want food, the barman has to walk back to the hotel to get it for you. As I've said the bar is very close to the hotel but be prepared for the bar to be quite frequently unmanned. Overall it's a nice experience and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant.

Enjoyed this hotel - our room was very comfortable, as was the king size bed. It was decorated in calming colours and there was everything one needed. A bottle of water came in handy and I loved how the tissues coming out of the tissue box had been arranged into a paper flower! Everywhere was very clean and tidy, including the public areas. Appreciated the cotton napkins in the restaurant with relaxing background music at dinner and breakfast.

We enjoyed a pre dinner drink before dinner in the adjacent bar terrace where there were trees and birds singing. Will happily return..

Reception area basic and often unmanned leaving guest waiting for attention , they take £75 upfront but mistakenly took £150 from my account instead I asked for it back and was told I would get when I leave and my account settled, apparently this is what you pay £75 for on arrival. It felt like this place had a few teething problems it is obviously newly reburbished , to a very high standard . Food very good staff very attentive .

This was my second visit. Really nice setting and location. Well appointed and very clean. Attentive staff. Pretty good value. We were in an annex building, whereas last time we were in the main building. The room was not as good as last time; not deluxe in our opinion, as described - felt a bit like being in a shed, a bit on the small side, bedside lights and reading light not working, next to the toilets of the hotel's on-site pub. The set meals were OK - quite small portions, slow service. It felt slightly chaotic at times.
Other Comments
The water in the room was boiling hot - the thermostat needs adjusting. I scalded myself in the shower. Overall, a pleasant experience, but slightly disappointing. I have said we would return, but this is a 'maybe' rather than a 'definite'.

We arrived early in the morning and greeted with a smile and the offer of a tea/coffee. Very welcoming . We parked and walked into the town following the instructions kindly given to us by the lady on reception. The food was amazing especially the curries which I’d highly recommend trying . Breakfast cooked to order and a good choice of items . Lovely hotel and would definitely return again
Other Comments
