Nice staff, clean hotel. Although we would go back at the right price there are a couple of points to be mentioned, the decor in parts is a bit unusual, the idea of the saddles is strange. Also there is a bar in the hotel as well as a small separate pub in the grounds (only yards away). However, although we were there on a Friday and Saturday at the beginning of September the bar in the hotel wasn't staffed, we waited there for service and someone did turn up after quite a few minutes, as they saw us on CCTV. In the pub if you want food, the barman has to walk back to the hotel to get it for you. As I've said the bar is very close to the hotel but be prepared for the bar to be quite frequently unmanned. Overall it's a nice experience and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant.

Enjoyed this hotel - our room was very comfortable, as was the king size bed. It was decorated in calming colours and there was everything one needed. A bottle of water came in handy and I loved how the tissues coming out of the tissue box had been arranged into a paper flower! Everywhere was very clean and tidy, including the public areas. Appreciated the cotton napkins in the restaurant with relaxing background music at dinner and breakfast.

We enjoyed a pre dinner drink before dinner in the adjacent bar terrace where there were trees and birds singing. Will happily return..

Reception area basic and often unmanned leaving guest waiting for attention , they take £75 upfront but mistakenly took £150 from my account instead I asked for it back and was told I would get when I leave and my account settled, apparently this is what you pay £75 for on arrival. It felt like this place had a few teething problems it is obviously newly reburbished , to a very high standard . Food very good staff very attentive .

This was my second visit. Really nice setting and location. Well appointed and very clean. Attentive staff. Pretty good value. We were in an annex building, whereas last time we were in the main building. The room was not as good as last time; not deluxe in our opinion, as described - felt a bit like being in a shed, a bit on the small side, bedside lights and reading light not working, next to the toilets of the hotel's on-site pub. The set meals were OK - quite small portions, slow service. It felt slightly chaotic at times.
Other Comments
The water in the room was boiling hot - the thermostat needs adjusting. I scalded myself in the shower. Overall, a pleasant experience, but slightly disappointing. I have said we would return, but this is a 'maybe' rather than a 'definite'.

We arrived early in the morning and greeted with a smile and the offer of a tea/coffee. Very welcoming . We parked and walked into the town following the instructions kindly given to us by the lady on reception.
The food was amazing especially the curries which I’d highly recommend trying . Breakfast cooked to order and a good choice of items . Lovely hotel and would definitely return again

Unfortunately i was very poorly & was actually in hospital for 10 days so we couldn't go, i contacted the hotel several times & they were unwilling to move my dates until later when i was well enough to go. Very unhappy to have lost all of this money when tgere was nothing i could do. Would sooner have been there than stuck in hospital.

We arrived to a warm welcome. Our rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. There was everything in the room that we needed, although the toiletries were in the smallest bottles ever. It seemed a bit stingy and we're glad we brought some from home. Location was great, only a few minutes easy drive into Stratford town centre.
We ate on site and the food was delicious. The Cask and Tandoor was very comfortable and we enjoyed a relaxing time sitting in the late afternoon sunshine.
The breakfasts are plentiful and nicely cooked.
All round, we had a lovely stay here and would consider staying again in the future.

This was our 1st visit. It is a lovely boutique style hotel and we would recommend it. A few minutes walk to Anne Hathaway's House and approx 40 min into Stratford.
Other Comments
Our only disappointment was that we were located in a room facing a very busy road. Also, a slight disadvantage as there weren't any slippers in the room (Executive King Room). Otherwise this was a very pleasant stay and all members of staff are very helpful.

This hotel smelt lovely! It was very clean with well appointed rooms. Decor is muted and restful. Food was well cooked with enough variety to be able to stay for a good few days before it got boring. It’s very close to all the historical places we wanted to visit.

Upgraded the room but never expected the largest room ever had - with full coffee and tea stations too! Some issues with the shower, no fridge and early morning rush hour traffic as it’s next to a road. But lovely semi rural location near Anne Hathaway’s cottage on the outskirts of Stratford. Sorry we weren’t there for curry night as some tasters we had were so good.

Everywhere was very clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was very good and well prepared.
The only negative I have is that our room was on the road side of the hotel and it is very close to it, consequently there is a lot of traffic noise at morning and evening rush hour.

I couldn’t fault the room facilities, they appear to have thought of everything! The executive bedrooms are excellent, comfy beds, lovely bed linen & towels, dark curtains and good bathroom with power shower. Staff very friendly and food good.

It’s a little unusual not to have free parking as a resident (£5 per night) however we did know in advance and we caught the bus into Stratford-upon-Avon, the stop was 5 mins up the road and easy to get back. Only thing I’d suggest is it’s a bit ‘white and bright’ in the dinning room of an evening - but that is certainly not a complaint!

The charging of extras ie car parking on site ( we did know this beforehand) but not breakfast extras if you wanted cereal and coffee such as flat white and cappuccino we were charged as extras outside our package. Although these extras were shown on the menu it seemed rather odd. Also if paid as part of check out VAT was added which we found rather odd as we did pay for drinks ie wine and cocktails during the evening whenconsumed withoutVAT bring charged.
