very clean and fixtures and fitting very high quality, just no soul

It ll felt very impersonal there were no special little touches and i didnt feel able to chat to staff like i have at other hotels. The breakfast choices were very limited and it was wither cooked breakfast or continental, no continental set out to pick yourself, was all served to you. Although we were parked in hotel crpark, awy from the town we were still charged for parking there

Only downside was some cleaning happened very late on at night, and had to have a word, but quickly resolved. Lady in reception when we left, thanked us for the feedback and said, he should have been seen and not heard.

We enjoy short breaks away. The Burnside was an excellent choice! It was good value for money with delicious food, wonderful staff and very comfortable accommodation and surroundings. Very well situated for the town centre and places to visit. Excellent!

The staff, food and accommodation were superb. We had a very friendly welcome from Valentino who booked us in. All waiting staff were always really friendly and efficient- always had smiles and chatted to make us feel comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean, very modern and cosy. Beautiful bathroom too with thick soft towels. Our bed was soooo comfortable too. We’ll look forward to returning with friends next time. Thank you Burnside staff!

About 20 minute walk to the town centre but only 10 minutes from Anne Hathaway’s cottage if you’re following the Shakespeare trail. Rooms at the front of the hotel are close to the road and a little bit noisy.

This was a 2 night stay booked with a voucher from Travel Zoo and represented very good value. The hotel had recently undergone a very tasteful renovation. The public areas and bedroom was spotless. There were lots of little touches that set it apart from some other hotels. The breakfast were high quality. Staff were very pleasant. It is in a lovely location but a little way out of town. The bus service is not great. We did have a very pleasant walk into town one day, along the footpath which took about 25 minutes.
