The house and grounds were beautiful. We booked our stay with travel zoo, which included the meal and it was a very good deal for such a lovely hotel.

Nice old hotel in great setting. Dinner was really poor, I wouldn’t have that again. The internet was also poor.

We upgraded ours and our guests to a garden room which was a little disappointing not really very different from our room on a previous visit which overlooked the car park at rear .

Really enjoyed the stay. We were in a Standard room on the top floor on a very warm weekend where thoughtfully two Dyson Air blade fans were provided, but the tiny window had safety straps so would only open a couple of inches.
The staff, with sadly only one exception, were lovely. The whole place was spotless and the food was really good.
