Staff exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. Food in the restaurant was good, although breakfast was slightly disappointing, as with virtually all self service buffets.

The room we had was in need of updating, it was clean but needed repainting, there was only one chair which had seen better days and the mattress wasn't comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were welcoming.

Staff were all wonderful. Friendly helpful and interested in us, not just talking from a script like some places. Room not quite up to scratch with annoying things like broken toilet seat and , in our view furnished the wrong way round so that our beds were under the short curtains which meant daylight woke us up too early.

Great staff. Gemma and Yasmine exceptional ladies. We had to cancel a day before arrival due to health. They arranged to change our dates. Nothing was too much for them. Restaurant food amazing for vegans and vegetarians. Breakfast was very nice too.

The weather was rainy and windy but we still had a great time. The standard room was on the small side but executive room very spacious.View from room not so great.

Lovely hotel set in rolling parkland. Friendly and efficient staff. The food was excellent although slightly on the pricey side. We visited the fascinating historic sites of Avebury and Silbury Hill. Nearby and well worth a visit.

Yes I liked the decor and seating in the restaurant

The drinks were way too expensive. £35.00 for a bottle of prosecco is terribley expensive. I feel they charged this because Stanton House is in the country and they know you have no where else to go. Also I thougt the food was of a poor standard. Though, the breakfast was very good.

Gemma on reception was great. I had a very dark bedroom on arrival and she immediately changed it for me. Sound proofing could be better - woken first morning at 0330 but someone having a bath in next room. Bedroom doors also bang loudly (can't be avoided due to their construction) so not good if a light sleeper. Staff all friendly and helpful. A good breakfast. Fabulous location. Garden and outside area could do with a thorough upgrade and rubbish removed. But would definitely return here.
