Celebrity-chef Atul Kochhar will be hosting a cooking demonstration at his Buckinghamshire restaurants Riwaz. Join the twice Michelin-starred-chef as he shares his culinary expertise and signature techniques. With added extras throughout, the event will conclude with a 3-course meal and wine. Tickets are £109 per person.

Atul Kochhar will be recreating his signature dishes, all inspired by Northeast Indian cuisine. You’ll watch as he guides you through each recipe*.
In 2001, Kochhar achieved his first Michelin star and a year later he opened his own restaurant. He was awarded his second Michelin star in 2007.

This was a “treat” evening for us to celebrate my Husband’s 75th Birthday. Really enjoyed the mix of Indian & Italian cuisine although not every course was to our mutual tastes. We appreciate this is a High End Restaurant but felt the charges for bottles of bear was excessive.

While we hadn't been to Riwaz, we had been to another of Atul Kochhar's restaurants, so knew what level of quality to expect. This dining experience - a mix of Indian and Italian cuisines - was excellent, with a wonderful combination of tastes and textures. The presence of both Atul Kochhar and Giancarlo Caldesi added to the special feel of the evening.

The only criticism I had, and this is not of the restaurant or food, was that from where I was sitting I could not hear the discussion with the chefs, or the description of how the dishes were prepared. To carry the voices to everyone in the restaurant, it really is necessary to use microphones.

Amazing to enjoy the special taster menu Atul's partnership with Giancarlo Caldesi. The fact that the paired wines were included really added the icing on the cake for me & my friends. Amazing night, aided by excellent staff service.

Only comment would be to akways arrange a microphone for any Q&A session as it was almost impossible to hear clearly, esp for those wearing hearing aids or nearer to the open kitchen area.

The 5 course menu was delicious as it was the last time I came. It was my friend’s birthday and they gave us a little extra pudding. A nice touch, we hadn’t told them, they heard us toasting. It’s a very nice environment and a pleasant little garden outside.

The only negatives are it said coffee and pastries to start but it was just coffee and biscuits and was seated towards the back so virtually no view and a little hard to hear at times.

It was a Christmas photo my husband who loves to cook Indian food. He loved the democracy and picked up lots of tips. The meal was delicious and receiving a signed cookbook and meeting Atul topped off a fantastic experience.

Beautiful meal and an interesting demonstration by an engaging chef. Some very minor details such as being given the wrong menu were not significant. The event description described tea/coffee and pastries on arrival. The pastries turned out to be packet rich tea biscuits, of which some were even broken, and we hadn’t anticipated an event described as having extra luxury touches to have the tea and coffee as self service in a paper cup like you’d expect at a work meeting but the rest was lovely.

Haven't visited Riwaz yet. Vaasu experience with Atul Kochhar was excellent, apart from being charged £27 service charge. Surely that should apply to the meal and drinks and not the whole cost of the ticket. We paid but other diners queried it, which I completely understand.

Compared with our previous visits the food was disappointing. The main courses were a small amount of fish or prawns in a lot of sauces. No other vegetables in the curry.

The food was delicious. The waiters were excellent. What was very disappointing was that we had to pay extra for the first course main course and dessert The chives for not paying were very limited. So I would not recommend a travelzoo voucher. This was a gift for a birthday and I had to pay more than I expected.

A couple of the courses were excellent and unusual but the other 3 were fairly underwhelming. We ended up paying an extra £90 on top of the travelzoo vouchers. This was extra for 500 ml wine carafe, £12 supplement each because it was considered dinner at 6pm and one coffee. We had no extra bread or naan as this was an additional £8.95. We travelled for 1hour 40 minutes to get there so this is the main reason for probably not going back again but if we lived in Beaconsfield then a return would be a possibility.

We really like the building and decor. Staff very attentive. , the food was served in a professional and friendly manner. Was surprised at all the supplements on two of the courses, this detracted from the experience. Had we not had the voucher and paid the full price this would have been even more of a surprise. Overall we enjoyed the food.

Overall the food was of high quality and deep layering if flavours. Disappointed and shocked to see so many supplements on this tasting menu when would expect to be set. One of toilets is very badly stained again shocked the see at such a prestigious restaurant.
