Access to the England Coast Path is opposite from the hotel. Follow this clifftop trail to the opposite side of the bay for the Pegwell Bay Country Park.
When in Ramsgate "on a sunny day, it’s easy to feel a touch of la dolce vita" (The Metro). The marina —with its waterfront bars, restaurants, and cafes—and Ramsgate Beach are about 5 minutes' drive away.
Drive along the coastline to Broadstairs (10 minutes' from the hotel) and the Dickens House Museum. Continue on to the white cliffs and chalk stacks of Botany Bay (25 minutes away).
Canterbury is 40 minutes away by car. Marvel at the cathedral or hop on a riverboat ride from Westgate Gardens.
