Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good quality and tasty. I think we were just unlucky they said a chef had called in sick that day, the service was very slow but they did give us complimentary desserts to make up for it.

Dined on a Thursday lunchtime and only one other table was occupied in the dining room. Had looked at the main menu online so were surprised that the menu had changed quite a lot. Very tasty food nicely presented and some different dishes (not just standard pub food). Don't eat out as couple very often and were quite shocked at price of glass of wine!
