"Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Themed common areas are attractive, high standard of cleanliness. Food was well presented, very tasty, using good quality products. Comfortable bed, good quality linen and towels. Beautiful setting with well tended gardens."

We think this hotel is amazing. The bedrooms are spacious with beautiful decor as are the en-suites. All food is delicious and well presented. All the staff are friendly,efficient and can’t do enough for you….just brilliant!!

Throughout the hotel the decor, furnishings, furniture etc. are of very high quality Just amazing!! We have stayed in very top quality hotels over the years but this one tops the lot. As said before……just AMAZING!!!

Lindeth Howe is a delight. It has been refurbished throughout in a quirky, very stylish manner whilst still retaining the character of the hotel and its links with Beatrix Potter. Our room was spacious with fantastic views of Lake Windermere. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Could not fault. Bonus was the house belonged to the Potter family, if you are a fan of Beatrix’s books. We visited Hill Top which tied it all together.

Lovely hotel just outside Bowness. very quirky decor and great food. The only drawback was that there were only two couples at dinner so not much atmosphere. Will be going back.
