We were staying at the hotel as guests and chose this offer as an additional treat. I have been to Warners before some years ago and things are noticeably different now, I believe the chain is now owned by different operators. The overall impression wasn't a bad one but it wasn't as good as previous experiences. There are less staff and it felt as if there had been cut backs. The "extras" like shampoo etc in the Spa had gone, tissues, general cleanliness in rooms etc and overall the staff seemed less 'happy' and let's say for me it felt that it had lost some of it's previous "gloss".

Attended for afternoon tea. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Seated in beautiful room with views of well maintained garden. Wonderful value for money. Couldn’t finish the selection of cakes, waitress offered to pack the same, which we gratefully accepted.

My only issue was that when making my booking with the hotel using my Travelzoo voucher, the confirmation ref stated 'Failed', so I was unsure if my booking had been accepted and had to ring up.

Littlecote house is a beautiful place. The afternoon tea was excellent value for money. Service was perfect. The only downside was that it was quite cold in the hall they serve the tea. But would come again.

A high quality afternoon tea and a great venue. The staff were really great, friendly and attentive yet not at all intrusive. Very professional and clearly committed to giving guests the best experience possible. All the food items were high quality and delicious. A bit more savoury and a little less sweet would have suited us, but this was an extremely enjoyable experience. We loved the Mad Hatter room.

This was our second afternoon tea at Holme Lacy House. The first one was a little chaotic as no-one seemed to be expecting us, or a table had been set. This was a totally different experience and diametrically opposite. Table ready and waiting, staff attentive and regularly asked if we needed more tea. Food excellent. Just a lovely afternoon tea. On the strength of this we have booked another one for 3 weeks' hence.

A nightmare trying to get through to Studley Castle - on 3 different occasions was put on hold for over 20 minutes - nearly gave up!
Afternoon tea was lovely but two young inexperienced staff - had to ask several times for different things.

Great place to visit. The afternoon tea was good, however, attention to detail was lacking. The tables were left untidy long after people had left and the only time we saw the waiter was when our order was taken and delivered. There was no opportunity to order another beverage. I am guessing they were short staffed !

My friend and I enjoyed the afternoon tea; good selection of food provided and staff were most accommodating in refreshing tea/coffee as required. We were given a window seat so had a lovely view of the grounds.
