Enjoyed our 3 night B&B deal here. Room was clean, comfortable & warm. The breakfast was excellent, & we ate here for 2 of the nights we stayed, food again was excellent, good quality. well cooked & not your usually 'pub grub' type menu. All the staff were efficient, helpfull & friendly.

The only negative was the size of the en-suite bathroom. It was tiny and did mar the stay a little.

Very friendly, helpful staff .Quiet village location but within easy reach of nearby facilities, larger towns etc. We found it easy to travel into York. Clean rooms, everything you need & the pub food was superb. We would definitely stay here again

Clean ensuite room with good shower. A bit dated, but warm and well appointed with tea coffee and kettle. Stand out value with the offer and amazing food! Good cooked breakfast and excellent evening bar meals with a large choice and huge portions of freshly good food.

Although the rooms are modestly furnished they were clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing - we didn't need lunch. The evening pub menu is varied with specials every day - the food is fabulous! The staff are lovely too.
