Lamport Hall & Gardens in Northamptonshire boasts "wonderful" gardens and "stunning" architecture (The AA). This summer, we are hosting an event just for Travelzoo members. You'll dine in the grand Dining Room, take a guided tour around the impressive hall, and learn the history of the extensive gardens. This event is £79 per person, and also includes a welcome reception and free time to explore the gardens at your leisure.
What's Included
This members-only event includes:
A welcome drink of tea, coffee, bucks fizz, or orange juice in the Oak Room
A 2-course lunch* in the Dining Room, accompanied by a glass of red or white wine
A private guided tour of Lamport Hall, including a talk from a conservationist
A private garden history tour
An anniversary guidebook
Free time after the event to explore the gardens and visit the church if you wish
Valid from 10am on 18 August, 2026. Lunch is expected to be served at 12:30pm, and the event will finish at around 2:45pm. You are then free to continue exploring at your leisure until 4pm
Your first tour will be be before lunch and your second tour will be after lunch. Tours take place on a first come, first served basis. The first tour will start when the first half of the group arrive

The Grade I-listed hall dates back to the 16th century and hosts a striking art, furniture, and book collection.
During your tour of the hall, the conservationist will talk you through preserving some of their unique and delicate items.
The gardens include shrubberies, borders, and a large rockery, which was once home to the world's first garden gnomes. Take a walk around and learn more about the history.
Your meal will be taken in the Victorian Dining Room.
