What's Included

Lakes restaurant has views of the surrounding countryside. Head to the lounge bar for light lunch or a post-meal cocktail.
The wellness centre is listed in the Good Spa Guide. The thermal suite has a salt sauna, hydro pool, steam room, ice fountain, and hot and cold blade experience showers.
On-site leisure facilities include a lakeside golf course, a bowling alley, and a tennis court.
Daventry Country Park is 15 minutes' drive away. There is a choice of woodland trails and a dedicated bird hide here. The Cotswolds National Landscape is less than 30 minutes by car.

My sister and I enjoyed this Travelzoo deal, we lived it. The pool are is wonderful and the water lively and warm. The restaurant staff are so lively and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, good to see 2 veggie options. Great breakfast too

We only stayed one night as it was part of a deal. The room and hotel was really clean staff were very helpful in particular the Front of house staff in the restaurant. My meal was cold and they sorted it immediately and could not be more apologetic. Bar staff were engaging making the stay welcoming. to big gas fires to sit by and the view to the golf course was picturesque.

Really enjoyed our night stay, for the price it was excellent. The room was clean and very large, we had an upgrade when we arrived. Lots of biscuits in the room & tea and coffee facilities. The staff were friendly and seemed to treat each other well which was nice to see. Spa was nice and quiet, we didn’t have a treatment as there was no availability but this didn’t matter. Loved the bowling lane, unique and a fun activity to do on the evening! Food was of a good standard and for the price we really couldn’t complain.

We had a nice break away, and for the price it was a fantastic deal. We wouldn’t go back, purely because it was quite far for us to drive and we only went due to the price of the deal and last min opportunity.

Quite modern, so not much character but saying that the location is fabulous, staff very friendly and amenable, room quite large and very comfortable as was the refurbished bathroom, spotless in every area

Would recommend better double glazing as quite cold in the dining room in the evening which made us retreat to our warm bedroom. If warmer would have staying and bought more drinks etc. loved the games table and next time use the bowling lanes

Without exception, the staff were super - a rarity in a supposed customer service industry.
The spa exceeded our expectations and limiting access at any one time, made for a calm and enjoyable experience. Drainage in the ladies showers could be improved though!
Dinner was included in our overnight stay, so we were not anticipating such a high and tasty standard. Breakfast followed suit, which made for a great start to the day.
Our room overlooked the lakes - an added bonus. A small issue was profusely apologised for and hopefully sorted for future guests.
We have already recommended the resort to family who live more locally and will definitely consider it again when visiting the area.

Booked this as a present for our daughter & son in law.
Overall they enjoyed their stay but a few things need addressing. The ambience in the restaurant wasn't great & they had their starters before even getting their drinks, which they had to chase up. Food was nice. Breakfast next day was quite good too, although the scrambled eggs were a but different!
The bedroom was large and comfortable but basic. Very pleased with the views of the grounds and the spa area was very good.
All in all, a chilled overnight stay. Thank-you.

Brilliant service from Vicky at breakfast really funny and friendly! Spa was really nice but needed some refurbishing in parts. Lots of tiles missing in the pool and some things broken off. Overall Loved the whole experience! Would go back and recommend this place

Please reduce plastics. No need for individual soaps/shampoos these days. Most people bring their own, so dispensing machines in the bathrooms and showers would be great.
Also recycling facilities would be good. We take our recycling home, to be sure.

Beautiful setting. Rooms are dated - possibly '70s. Heating difficult to control. Food was acceptable. No facility for making real coffee in room. No bathrobe. The best feature were the staff who were very helpful and friendly.

Vast public areas with no atmosphere. Everything is drab green. There is a drinks cooler in the restaurant louder than a diesel generator illuminating everything with a brilliant white florescent tube.

Our 3 visits to this hotel have been out of season, so no problem booking 10 pin bowling alleys, the Spa facilities which are amazing, meals are ok, so we will book again in the near future.
