Daventry Country Park is 15 minutes' drive away. There is a choice of woodland trails and a dedicated bird hide here. The Cotswolds National Landscape is less than 30 minutes by car.

We went as a last minute night away. Very good value! Food great, room lovely and staff friendly and professional. Very quiet so atmosphere a little lacking but we loved it all.

Vast public areas with no atmosphere. Everything is drab green. There is a drinks cooler in the restaurant louder than a diesel generator illuminating everything with a brilliant white florescent tube.

Eight girl friends stayed for one night..we really enjoyed the spa and relaxed atmosphere. We will return as soon as possible. Victoria in the dining room was lovely and very helpful, but she was so very busy..and had no help..we all think the hotel should hire more staff to lesson there load. The spa staff were lovely and very helpful

There were three adults staying at Hellidon Lakes. This was our second visit and we will definitely go again. The staff are so kind, friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. Even through they had a small number of guests staying the good at both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

We had the most wonderful stay. The room was amazing, overlooking the Golf course. Beautiful views. The spa was lovely, the pool was amazing! The food in the restaurant was really nice, and all the staff throughout the hotel were so polite, respectful and professional. We could not fault our stay at all!

Lighting in the bar and restaurant was horrendous. Way too bright, all spot lights, ruined the ambience and atmosphere. Table lamps required!!
Also, signage around the hotel is terrible. On floor 1, we followed restaurant and spa signs along the corridor that didn’t lead anywhere. Changing rooms were labelled toilets in the spa area - people were walking round the thermal suite and their clothes trying to find a changing room.

A very pleasant overnight stay, the thermal spa was excellent and very relaxing, the staff in the restaurant were attentive, the food very good, although could have be served much hotter. Breakfast was adequate for a buffet and Vicky especially was very accommodating.

Great value for money offer although hotel and spa looking a little tired and run down we had an excellent two night stay good food ok room fantastic friendly helpful staff would come back for a third / fourth forth time in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone if you overlook some of the tiredness of the place youd have a good time
