More Reasons to Go
- The hall dates back to the 1390s with a long history closely tied to that of York Minster. It originally served as the dining hall for the Vicars Choral.

Very pleasant afternoon at the Hall tea room. Frequent visitors to York but didn't know about the Hall. Interesting history. The ladies looked after us really well and the food was excellent. All home made! We had the Prosecco afternoon tea. Very nice and excellent value.

Beautiful building/setting for an afternoon tea and a bit of history. Staff were lovely and the tea was delicious. They allowed us to take our dog in too, which was an unexpected bonus!
Other Comments
No adjacent parking, but there is a municipal car park a few minutes walk away. We'd wrongly assumed Bedern Hall is in the countryside....but it's in York city centre!
