The Pantry Cafe there was excellent and almost made up for the disappointment elsewhere.

Voucher was for walled garden. We travelled an hour to get there and saw what there was in roughly 20 minutes! We were underwhelmed to say the least.

A lovely day spent wandering around the gardens and parkland. Enjoyed our lunch in the cafe and the gluten free cake . Staff very friendly and helpful. Will go again next year but maybe earlier in the year this time to see the gardens at a different stage.

The guide who took the tour of the hall was exceptional I think her name was Ann. I have a hearing problem and she was clear and precise in her speech. Also she made the whole tour enjoyable.
