Still ongoing until tomorrow but so far, it has been a pleasant experience. The pub and room are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good. It's just a bit on the quiet side but that's maybe the time of year.

Had a lovely couple of days at the Plum and Partridge. The rooms are cosy and modern. The lighting was not very good for applying makeup but manageable with a makeup mirror I had taken with me. There was a problem with the thermostat in the shower and bath but was sorted when we brought it to the attention of the staff. The food was excellent and the staff were so polite and helpful.

Our room was in the Hayloft, which meant going outside of the main hotel at the back of the building.
