Centrally placed for walking, train, road, has a carpark included in price, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

All of the staff were really friendly and helpful and cheerful. Cleaners and breakfast restaurant staff.

Other Comments
Make sure your milk churn type milk jugs are clean and do not contain remnants of hot milk from their last use. I was twice served my breakfast cold milk in a dirty jug. NOT GOOD.

We had a lovely time we booked through travel zoo, it was the.perfect location lots of lovely walks and beautiful scenery food was delicious at the stables which belongs to the royal oak hotel as was the resturaunt the weather was perfect the staff were excellent a really nice break thankyou

We stayed in room 104 which had a strong smell of effluent seemed to be coming from the plug holes in the bath and sink it seemed to get worse as the day went on

Only one very minor complaint - no fan in bathroom. But we were VERY impressed.
