- The hotel's restaurant serves hearty, seasonal dishes. The bar offers a curated selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails.

Booked a twin room and upgraded, when we arrived it was a double bed and were told the original bed had broken and there was nothing they could do and no compensation offered even when I asked for some. Really badly handled customer service.

The food was great and good and on hot plates.

The room was so small my dog kennel would be bigger and because we booked it through travel zoo we were told it was the eirst room in the hotel.

John was very prompt with responding to the booking request.
The shower was beautifully finished and the laundry was home laundered which was softer than the chain hotels..
Only one bedside lamp though for a double room booking which was inconvenient if you both want to read or wake up at different times during the night and try not to disturb your partner.

My husband does not enjoy fish and there appeared to be a limited choice - burger or steak/ vegetarian option.
No lamb when Wales is famed for it.
I think the menu my husband had downloaded from the website must have been a week or so out of date eg I had been looking forward to Whitebait as a starter but it wasn't on the menu.
The portions were a good size.
Lovely to wake up overlooking the sea and I managed to take some lovely photos of the sunrise by leaning out of the second floor window (in my pyjamas) :))

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel.
The thing that will remain with us was how good the food was, we ate there both nights and the food was excellent.
Also the breakfast had everything that would set you up for the day. Staff were all very pleasant and we were looked after well ,
Our 2 night stay was fabulous, we loved Angelsey .

This is our second visit to the Trecastell Hotel. We enjoyed it so much last year, that as soon as we saw the Travelzoo deal reappear, we booked again. The location in Bull Bay is fabulous. Our room (14) on the second floor has panoramic views out to sea all across the bay. The room itself is lovely, ample size with plenty of storage space, king size bed, huge smart TV, tea/coffee making facilities, etc. The en suite is quite large with a great shower. Everywhere in the room, and throughout the hotel is well presented and spotlessly clean. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Whilst going about their duties, they are friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The bar area is nice with a good choice of beers, wines, and spirits. The restaurant has lovely views out at the front. We ate there on both nights, and the nice selection of foods was very good. Service again was excellent. We can’t wait for another deal to come along…we will be booking.

The manager has obviously done a fantastic job of bringing The Trecastell Hotel up to the standard it is today. It is a very welcoming facility in a location to die for. It’s always a treat to stay here, and we always leave with great memories.
