From the moment we entered the hotel, beautiful old world charm, hospitality at its best. Friendly reception, went above & beyond for my request for a bath. Our room was outstanding, comfortable, everything you could possibly need & more. We visited the pool, again a lovely greeting by the young man there, towels & everything explained to use, lovely couple of hours spent relaxing, spotlessly clean & well cared for. Evening meal, fabulous!! Service second to none...All staff feel highly trained, but still have that friendly approach too, which just adds to the enjoyment of the stay.
Breakfast again, met with a lovely lady, everything explyti us & you could choose where to sit, which is what I like, breakfast excellent, plenty of choice.
Got to say our stay was excellent, made even more special by the duty manager Sam, his love of the hotel, shines through, his dedication is abundant , he seems to be everywhere, from front desk on arrival, to seating us in the restaurant on the evening & then next morning, he was still there, what a fantastic guy!! So warm & friendly, seems the staff love him too.
I love this hotel & everything about it, lots to do, beautiful walks, we visited the three dams, overall a great stay, so much so we booked a return visit early next year...thank you so much
