£75—Meal & bottle of wine for 2 with Kensington Garden views

Very accommodating for my husband who is coeliac. Tasty adjustments made where required. Delicious gluten free soufflé. Staff front of house and behind the scenes all worked hard to make this a very memorable experience.

Easy walk from station. Origin has large picture windows so plenty of natural daylight. Spacious but, still manages to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The staff are wonderful its a beautifully kept modernist hotel. Most of the food was delicious esp the trout starter and the hot raspberry souffle. The roast beef however was sliced much too thick like a slim wedge of steak... ... not as fresh and elegant as I had before. Setting is lovely service excellent.

Absolutely excellent - good, service & ambience

The set menu was limited on choice and a number of choices incurred supplement charges, a bottle of wine was included in the offer which stated this could be exchanged for a different wine upto the equivalent cost when we asked what other wines they had we were told that they could serve us one glass each from wine menu when we checked the wine menu the wine they had on the offer was not available on drinks menu., because it was a very cheap house wine , hence they didn't not have any other wine equivalent to that price . The Decor in the restaurant was very bland and basic suitable to a canteen , and as for views of the park all we could see was a brick wall lined by trees , none of the park was visible. They did offer us complimentary coffee after our meal so they were well aware our experience was not a happy one. I felt very sorry for an elderly couple sitting at the table next to us who were paying full price for their meal and decided to leave half way through their dinner because they were so disappointed by what was served to them. Have had many great experiences over 16 years with Travel Zoo but this was by far the worse .

Wonderful food, Great service.

Yes, we had our waiter from last time (very nice man), although unfortunately, not for the whole experience. We sat by the window overlooking the park and as last time, it was not busy, which is ideal if you have hearing problems.

We were really looking forward to our meal having eaten there last year as one of your deals. It was, sadly, not up to the same standard. One starter, one main and one desert was very good. The other three were not. The starter was tiny and very average in flavour. The chicken was a lump of chicken with two spring onions and a small tart which lacked flavour. The raspberry souffle desert tasted of egg. My mother was extremely unimpressed by the chips we ordered as extra. Last year the food was very exciting and different and we couldn't wait to return if you had another deal. When I booked I was sent an email asking for credit card details and a £25 fine/person if we didn't turn up. I was shocked and very disappointed, having already paid £75 for a meal we hadn't eaten. I explained my mother was 86 and may not make it due to the heat and the member of staff agreed to ensure I didn't have to leave my card details and hence, risk a fine. You should not have to do this having paid in advance already. I do not remember seeing anything in your literature to warn you of this. I didn't have to do this last time. We would consider going back (hence that section ticked and recommending the merchant) in order to see if the chef was having an off day or indeed, if the chef had changed, but we won't be rushing back. If it was our first experience we wouldn't go back.

I had the whole grilled seabass with chimichurri. It was possibly one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. The service was above and beyond. Very lovely waiter. We will absolutely go back; I want to have that fish again!

Wonderful food, fabulous service, with special mention to Bogdan Ozom who took excellent care of my friend and I. A nice setting for a smart/ casual lunch with a friend or clients. Likely good for families as it's rather quiet and the views over the park are very calming. Plated food was very elegant and added something special to our meal. The menu was first class and innovative with dishes I've not seen before but with all the usual ifavoured ngredients. My friend and I really struggled to choose only one option per course.

Unfortunately there was hardly anybody in the restaurant.However the food was excellent,better than the Savoy and the Old War Office.The service was very good.

Delicious food wonderful staff

We had a lovely meal at Origin restaurant and this was excellent value for money with large portions and the added bonus of wine with the meal. The staff were also very attentive. I would definitely recommend this deal.

Reserving a table was very poor and time consuming. It took days.

Food was enjoyable and the waiter was excellent. Oh, and view was lovely.

Very nice restaurant overlooking Kensington Park. Ideally located for the Royal Albert Hall. Staff werevery attentive and the menu quite varied. The food was excellent and well presented. With 1 coffee (not included) and a 12% service charge there was an extra £22 to pay. Overall a lovely 3 course meal with a bottle of wine at a lovely restaurant for nearly £100 was good value in London.

Wonderful food and service Have been twice and will definitely visit again

The starter and main course were very good. The choice of dessert was shocking and I couldn’t eat any of it. The overall experience was pleasant.

Duck egg was mainly raw. Staff offered another course but when I declined did nothing further. I expected them to deduct the cost of the bread.

Celebrating a special birthday

I've been going to this restaurant for about 13 years now. Travelzoo used to have the best deals at this restaurant. Even though over time there is not the cocktail with the 4 course meal (I still remember the fantastic cheeseboard and coffee!) The food is always good and the staff and service is exceptional. However, booking was a problem with no answer from my email and I had to follow it up. They then got the dates wrong so that's why I marked it down. Also, my eggs were partly uncooked (translucent, runny and unappetising) which is why I marked down the food. However, I'll always buy this deal again and again. Please continue having them. ( Btw, I wish you also did the dinner desks at the Savoy☺️)

It was lovely, been several times before and it was as good as ever. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff, very professional and excellent at their jobs.

It's a lovely venue, busy on Saturday evening but calm, relaxed and a pleasure to be there. The food was delicious. Looking forward to going back and would happily recommend it.

The staff were very welcoming and efficient, and we enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine and a delicious amuse bouche. The starter was very good but the roast was a little disappointing. Roast potatoes were overcooked and not at all crispy and the beef was tender but a little tasteless. Vegetables, gravy and wine all delicious! The meal ended on a high with a delicious soufflé and excellent coffee (on the house as recompense for the potatoes). Overall a very pleasant afternoon.

The food was good and the service.

The restaurant lacked any atmosphere, we sat alone in a cold end of the restaurant (we feel maybe just for those on tz deal but maybe wrong!) and there was no ambience, view or anything to make the space feel inviting.

Everything was great, the only thing I'd suggest is that the service charge should be included in the voucher. I wasn't expecting that at the end of the meal.
